Vans Checkerboard SK8-Hi Gore-Tex MTE-3 White

Vans MTE is the byproduct of a lifetime spent outdoors, because we know that the pursuit of your passions isn’t always accompanied by a fair-weather forecast. Rain, sleet, snow, mud, wind-nothing is going to stand between you and your next adventure. In fact, we like to think these all add a bit of flavor to the experience. It’s why we created MTE in the first place.

Made for the elements with our most advanced and purpose-built all-weather technology, the new Rucksack Sk8-Hi GORE-TEX MTE-3 packs over 25 years of Vans snowboard boot history and technology into a timeless, trusted style. The MTE-3 feature set includes the MTE-3 outsole built with All-Trac™, an MTE exclusive all-weather rubber compound that offers significantly improved traction with improved toe picking and dynamic lug tread. The MTE-3 GORE-TEX waterproof package will keep you dry, a powerful 3M Thinsulate™ insulation package for cold weather thermoregulation will keep you warm, and a dual-density molded UltraCush™ sockliner with an OrthoLite® topsheet will keep you comfortable no matter what the day has in store. Plus, the durable water repellent-treated leather and textile uppers bring an iconic Vans aesthetic to this uncompromising cold weather comfort.

Whether you find yourself bagging snowcapped peaks or braving a rain-soaked commute, you can set off with confidence knowing every stitch of your equipment is intentionally placed to provide ultimate versatility. After all, we know it was never about the destination. It’s about the stories you create along your journey.

• TRACTION – The brand new MTE-3 All-Trac™ outsole rubber compound with a dynamic lug tread pattern provides flexible, true all-weather grip that significantly aides in overall traction on all kinds of surfaces. Toe picking treads and a higher toe bumper offer even more grip and protection.
• THERMOREGULATION – The MTE-3 3M Thinsulate™ is warm, lightweight, powerful, and thin. The extremely fine microfibers in Thinsulate™ help to trap air and block heat loss, making for an incredibly efficient insulation while still allowing internal moisture to escape.
• MOISTURE MANAGEMENT – Engineered with a classic internal bootie that allows internal moisture to escape while keeping snow and rain out, the GORE-TEX “GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™” promise is trusted in any condition.
• COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE – Our MTE-3 triple-density comfort package includes a dual-density UltraCush™ molded EVA footbed with an OrthoLite® topsheet for enhanced comfort and reduced weight-all while supporting a drier, healthier environment inside your shoe.
• MATERIAL – Leather, textile and synthetic.
